Viti Levu
The largest island, Viti Levu is home to 70% of the population and is the hub of the entire archipelago. The Yasawas
The Yasawa group is originally volcanic. It has six large islands and fourteen smaller ones. Sparsely populated, the land is relatively dry, the beaches white. The Yasawas got Brooke Shields when the 1980 film Blue Lagoon was filmed there. Island hop, explore the clear dark waters of Sawa-i-Lau Cave, snorkel and dive yourself on gorgeous reef frequented by manta rays.

Taveuni
Taveuni is the garden island of Fiji, It is rugged, wet, verdant and pristine. Most of the forests are now protected and there are peaks to ascend and coastlines to wander. Everywhere you go you will find accommodation for all ranges from super-luxury to backpacker fun.

The Mamanucas
The Mamanuca is a cluster of small islands located just offshore from the west coast of Viti Levu. They are such picture perfect islands that the film Cast Away was filmed on this chain's uninhabited Monuriki Island! The Mamanucas offer tourists with convenience, great beaches and sunshine. But if your goal is to get a taste of local culture, don't plan on spending all of your time here then.

Nadi
Nearly everyone who visits Fiji comes to Nadi. This multi-cultural town is the main hub for international travellers, and offers great places to eat, drink and shop. It has a good selection of shops selling clothing, books, jewellery and souvenirs. This is also a good place to stock up on electronic items such as memory cards for digital cameras.
